Elizabethtown Sports Park Rules


To preserve the quality of the Elizabethtown Sports Park and provide a clean and healthy environment, please consider the following rules:

  • Disorderly conduct and physical/verbal assault will not be tolerated.
  • No athletic field use without prior approval from the Park Director.
  • Smoking and ALL tobacco products are prohibited
  • Alcohol is strictly prohibited on Park property. Violators will be removed from Park property.
  • No pets allowed at the fields. Pets are only allowed on the walking trails and must be leashed at all times.
  • No gum, sunflower seeds or shelled nuts allowed in the park.
  • Personal coolers are allowed in the park and at the fields. However, only one team cooler is permitted in the dugout or on the sideline.
  • No metal spikes are permitted on portable mounds. Tennis shoes, turf shoes, and rubber cleats are acceptable.
  • No food or beverages (other than water) are permitted on the synthetic turf fields.
  • No folding chairs, pop up tents, or any type of outdoor furniture permitted on the synthetic turf fields.
  • No person shall engage in the sale of merchandise or operate any concessions without prior approval.
  • Specific permission is required prior to posting any signs or decorations.
  • Loudspeakers are prohibited unless prior consent is given.
  • Private vehicles are prohibited on turf surfaces, sidewalks, service driveways and emergency zones. Any vehicle found in an unauthorized parking area will be ticketed and towed at owner's expense.
  • Overnight parking is prohibited including RV's and campers.
  • Glass bottles or containers are prohibited in the park.
  • Grills or cookers are prohibited indoors and on all playing surfaces.
  • No fireworks or any open flame.
  • No unauthorized use of model planes or rockets.
  • Park may be closed at any time due to safety related concerns.
  • Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate removal from park.
